Further expansion of the network is underway, with three more satellites for the CTC-1 mission launched in November 2025. The network is designed as an open system where participants can contribute satellites and share associated costs. Users will pay for internet services using Spacecoin's native cryptocurrency token. The project employs blockchain technology to ensure secure data transmission and aims to facilitate internet fee payments via crypto across different blockchain networks, possibly leveraging Creditcoin. Spacecoin's long-term vision includes a decentralized infrastructure featuring a space-based layer-1, known as the Celestial Chain, and a terrestrial layer-2, the Uncelestial Network.
