The FLUID token is integral to the platform's ecosystem, serving both governance and utility purposes. Holders of FLUID tokens can participate in voting on platform upgrades, new features, and funding decisions through the Fluid DAO. The token also grants access to premium tools and features. Fluid aims to address common DeFi challenges such as high transaction fees and complex processes by offering a more user-friendly and efficient platform. It employs smart coding to reduce Ethereum gas fees and utilizes a BigMath system for accurate handling of large transactions. The project has received backing from several notable venture capital firms, including Animoca Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, and Standard Crypto, and is led by Samyak Jain and Sowmay Jain. It is worth noting that another project called "Fluid Tokens" also exists in the Web3 space, focusing on NFT lending on Cardano and Bitcoin with its native $FLDT token.
