Users can lock their YB tokens to receive a vote escrowed version, which grants them the ability to participate in the protocol's decision making process. This includes voting on various parameters such as administrative fee levels, the allocation of the treasury, and the distribution of token emissions across different liquidity pools. Beyond governance, the token serves as a tool for revenue sharing and liquidity mining. Participants who hold the vote escrowed version of the token are eligible to receive a portion of the fees generated by the protocol. Additionally, those who provide liquidity to the platform receive receipt tokens representing their stake, which can be further utilized within the ecosystem to earn rewards. While the project initially launched with a focus on Bitcoin, its long term roadmap includes expanding these liquidity solutions to other major assets such as Ethereum, Solana, and BNB.
