Astrovault is a decentralized exchange (DEX) and automated market maker (AMM) built on the Archway blockchain, which is part of the Cosmos SDK. Its main goal is to improve the economic viability of traditional AMM models by creating and capturing value, often by monetizing liquidity. The platform integrates both traditional AMM functionalities and slippage-free 1:1 trades, utilizing staking derivatives as core liquidity. In this system, assets that are provided as liquidity are tokenized representations of staked assets. These assets can then earn rewards, which become revenue for the Astrovault Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). This revenue is then used for Protocol Owned Liquidity (POL) and rewards, aiming to provide sustainable yields and reduce reliance on external liquidity. The token 'xAKTAstrovault(xakt)', or more specifically xAKT, is a token supported within the Astrovault ecosystem, identified as "xAKT (Archway)". Tokens with an "x" prefix on Astrovault, such as xAKT, generally represent liquid staking derivatives. This means they are tokenized forms of assets that have been staked, allowing them to simultaneously earn interest and contribute to the security of various Layer-1 networks within the broader Cosmos ecosystem. Astrovault's features include scalable liquid staking, perpetual self-generated liquidity, and multi-chain stable swaps.
