The Pro Mode, on the other hand, requires users to possess NFT shoes. In Pro Mode, users earn digital tokens by exercising, with the rewards influenced by factors such as the type, rarity, and statistics of their NFT shoes. The WALK token is the utility token within the SuperWalk ecosystem. Users can earn WALK tokens by actively participating in the ecosystem and performing exercises with their NFT shoes. The token has multiple uses within the application, including repairing shoe NFTs, purchasing in-app items like shoe skins, potions, and Super Stones, minting and leveling up shoe NFTs, and participating in raffles. SuperWalk employs a dual-token model, which includes both the WALK utility token and a governance token called GRND. This model is designed to support a sustainable token economy. Although the WALK token is issued without a finite supply, the project implements a daily total issue limit to help prevent excessive inflation. The distribution of WALK tokens is determined by user activity, considering factors such as GPS accuracy, adherence to target speeds, energy consumed, the type and performance statistics of the NFT shoes, residual durability, probabilistic bonus points based on 'Luck' stats, and the number of consecutive exercise days. The project was developed by Proground, a sports tech startup with prior experience in running community apps.
