A key feature of SPUSD is that the underlying sUSDC continues to earn yields from the Venus Protocol even when it is wrapped as SPUSD. This allows users to retain their staking rewards while also having access to liquidity. The process of converting between sUSDC and SPUSD is designed to be instant. SPUSD offers several use cases such as enabling emergency liquidity by allowing users to sell their staked positions without waiting for unstaking periods, facilitating portfolio adjustments without losing future yields, optimizing yield by providing liquidity, and managing risk through using SPUSD as collateral.
