The Parifi Protocol offers an interface for users to interact with its capabilities. Within its ecosystem, Parifi utilizes several tokens. The Parifi Token (PRF) serves as the utility token, allowing for the payment of gas costs in transactions, offering an alternative to native blockchain gas fees. Staking PRF tokens can enhance liquidity and market stability, and is intended to lay the groundwork for future decentralized governance. pfTokens, issued by the Parifi Vault (Pools), are allocated to liquidity providers who contribute to specific liquidity pools. Among these is pfETH, which is provided to contributors of ETH-based volatile vaults. This option is for liquidity providers who are comfortable with the higher risk and potential for greater returns associated with the volatility of ETH. pfETH is an ERC-20 standard token. The concept of Wrapped ETH (WETH) generally refers to an ERC-20 compatible version of Ethereum (ETH) that is necessary for trading on decentralized exchanges and interacting with various DeFi applications because native ETH is not ERC-20 compliant. WETH is created by sending ETH to a smart contract, which then mints an equivalent amount of WETH in a 1:1 ratio, a process that can be reversed. Parifi's protocol supports various use cases including trading perpetual swaps, hedging, providing liquidity, optimizing yield, developing on-chain trading strategies, and creating automated liquidity provision vaults and structured products.
