Sapphire, a confidential EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) on Oasis, allows Web3 and Decentralized AI developers to build decentralized applications with smart privacy either on Oasis or other EVM-compatible chains. The ROSE token plays several essential roles within the Oasis ecosystem. It is used to pay for transaction fees (gas fees) on the network. ROSE tokens are also utilized for staking and delegation, which are crucial for securing the network and allowing participants to earn rewards for their contributions.
