NerveNetwork is a parallel chain developed within the NULS ecosystem using NULS technology. It leverages the Proof of Credit (POC) mechanism from NULS and combines it with Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) to create the POCBFT consensus. This relationship allows NerveNetwork to offer high-speed interoperability while maintaining the security and flexibility provided by the NULS micro-services framework.
NVT serves several essential functions within its ecosystem. It is used to pay for transaction and cross-chain service fees and can be staked to secure the network in exchange for block rewards. NVT holders also have governance rights, allowing them to vote on protocol upgrades and proposals. Furthermore, NVT acts as a base asset for liquidity provision and yield farming on platforms like NerveSwap and NerveFarm.
