At its core, GnomeLand is presented as an indie game where a unique Gnome NFT is minted upon a user's sign-up. The main objective of the game is to "keep your Gnome happy" by feeding it and interacting with other players, referred to as "Frens". The project includes features like a "Gnome Factory" for minting Gnomes and integrating decentralized finance with NFTs, "Gnome Booper" for flash loan interactions, and "Gnome Feeder" to keep Gnomes active. A "GnomeLand LeaderBoard" tracks contributions to the ecosystem, with rewards for top participants. GnomeLand also features a mechanism where trading activity of the GNOME token generates fees, which in turn powers a perpetual sticker minting machine. This system automatically mints new Gnome sticker NFTs as trading volume accumulates. These freshly minted stickers are then auctioned to the community. Looking ahead, GnomeLand announced a governance proposal in September 2023 focused on community engagement and ecosystem expansion. Future plans include the launch of a new decentralized application marketplace in the second quarter of 2024, pursuing partnerships for interoperability, and a community vote in the third quarter of 2024 to discuss potential changes to its tokenomics model. In 2025, the project aims to deploy Gnomes on several EVM blockchains like Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and Optimism, and expand to non-EVM chains such as Solana, alongside further game development and the launch of the GnomeLand Game.
