BADGER serves primarily as a governance token, allowing holders to vote on proposals submitted by community members regarding protocol upgrades, treasury allocations, and product parameters. The amount of BADGER held determines a user's voting power. Additionally, BADGER is used to incentivize users who contribute liquidity to smart contracts and to reward developers within the ecosystem.
